This project was a blast to work on, especially since Troy and I are die-hard Bruce Brown fans—Endless Summer and On Any Sunday are staples in our homes. Teaming up with legendary surf filmmaker and composer George Trimm was a natural fit.
I collaborated with George Trimm on the storyline and directed the film’s look and feel, shaping the creative across digital, retail, and wholesale channels.

Branding
To give the campaign a ’60s feel, I created a custom typeface by screen printing and scanning the Vans brand font. With eight alternates per character, it became a key element of the campaign.
